Developing effective study skills and habits is a necessary tool that students need to develop. For some students studying for tests, organizing materials, and taking notes, comes easy. For others they must learn and practice these skills, much like they would learn and practice how to throw the javelin or kick a football. For those students who need help with these skills below are a few resources to get started.
In addition students should take advantage of our school resource room that is located in the library. The resource room is staffed with teachers in the areas of English, Foreign Language, Social Studies, Math, and Science.
The following periods are when the resource room is staffed:
Periods 1, 2, 3, 4, 5/6, 10, and 11. (Not all subjects are available each period. A more detailed schedule can be found in the high school guidance office.)
