A Little Bit About ME...
I coordinate the RtII department (Response to Instruction and Intervention) and I am
also the Instructional Support Team Leader here at Joseph P. Liberati
Intermediate School. This is my ninth year at Southern Lehigh School
District, but I have been involved in education for about 20 years. I
started my teaching career in South Brunswick, New Jersey where I taught
every grade level from Kindergarten to Fifth Grade. After I left
there, I took several years off to raise my children. During this
time I did some substitute teaching and helped out at my children's
schools. Before coming to Southern Lehigh SD, I went back to full time
work and spent 5 years at Lehigh Valley Academy in Bethlehem as their
Math Coach and Specialist. During this time, I also received my Reading
Specialist Certification, so teaching Read 180 here at the
IS and leading the intervention department are perfect matches for me. Reading is truly one of my passions and I
love that I get to share it with my students every day.
At home, my husband Bill and I have 3 wonderful children. We are so proud of them. Billy recently graduated from Temple University. Ryan is a freshman at West Chester University and Lissy is a s
enior in High School. We also have 2 dogs, Abby and Stella, a cat named Kirby and a horse, Monti. When
I'm not working, I love to travel, spend time at the barn with my horse, support my sons and daughter while they play lacrosse and rugby and, of course, I love to read.
Intermediate School is a great place to be and I am thrilled to work
with such a wonderful group of students, parents and staff.
