I received a bachelor's degree from Bloomsburg University in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. I later went back to college, and attended Moravian College where I received my education degree, with a certification in elementary education. I have a master's degree in education from Wilkes University.
I have been working in Southern Lehigh for several years now. First as a classroom aide, and then as a substitute teacher both in this district and other districts. I began teaching in Southern Lehigh as a classroom reduction teacher for 4th grade(Math and Language Arts/Reading) at Lower Milford Elementary. The following year I taught 5th grade classroom reduction
and kindergarten. My third year as a teacher I taught 4th grade (all subjects) and then came here to the IS when it first opened where I taught Social Studies and Language Arts/Reading for the first four years. The last 3 years I've been teaching Math and Science.
I'm now making a move to 6th grade where I'll be teaching science and social studies.
