    The following links to practice and enhance your Social Studies knowledge and skills and may be used for class activities/assignments...
    1. World Desk is a reference site with a wealth of information on any country in the world.  The first time you use the site you have to enter an email address in order to get a password but it is absolutely FREE. 
    2. infoplease is another reference site where you can get information and updates about any topic - not just Social Studies.
    3. Social Studies Skills Tutor includes interactive activities and exercises that help build skills such as evaluation, reading, and maps. 
    4. World Studies includes summaries, additional information and practice activities for each chapter of your textbook. 
    5. World Atlas provides information about counties around the world and their flags. 
    6. The CIA maintains an informational site with information about every country that the United States recognizes.
