SLMS January Newsletter & Construction/Parking Update

Hello SLMS Families,

Happy 2023! We are looking forward to a wonderful month and appreciate all your support!

A few updates:

• Construction on the Stadium Project

This will be beginning shortly, please make sure that you are not parking in or using the back parking lot (near the loading dock) as that will be used for storing equipment, materials and heavy machinery. 

• Teacher Inservice, No School for Students - Friday, 1/13/23
• School Closed - Monday, 1/16/23

    • Sign-ups for our Parent Listening Circles being held on 1/25/23
    • Career Day Volunteer Sign-Ups - We have 16 volunteers for interviews and will need at least 30, and we also need at least 4 more Career Presenters for our 8th-grade event on 4/21/23. This is a great way to share your passions and help our students find their path!
    • National Junior Honor Society Update
    • 8th Grade Parent Transition Night is upcoming!
