Parent Pick Up Survey
We are in planning mode for this coming school year and are looking at our dismissal and especially parent pick-up process. We would like to return to a process similar to our "pre-pandemic" parent pick-up but need to collect some information for planning purposes. Our interest is to recapture our instructional time with children, which does add up if we continue to begin our pick-up process at roughly 3:10 PM. Moving it back to 3:25 PM for all pick-ups will reclaim about 45 hours of instructional time over a 180 day school- year. To put that in perspective, we have 5 hours and 45 minutes outside of lunch and recess that is dedicated to instruction. Moving parent pick-up back to 3:25 will result in almost 8 days of instruction. We would like to reclaim that time, but also continue to be both safe and efficient during dismissal.
