Everyone is struggling with our “new normal” and trying to find the balance of working from home and navigating all of the technology that goes along with that. Additionally, we cannot access many of the activities, sports, and hobbies and connect with friends that we used to in the past. Along with this, I know that there is a lot of stress and anxiety that we must deal with in order to adjust to this new way of living. Therefore, I wanted to reach out and offer you and your children some options if you would like to touch-base with me.
Please be assured that all library material due dates will be adjusted, and that all overdue fines, that are generated while we are out of school, will be waived. If you currently have library materials out, please keep track of them and put them in a safe place once you are finished with them.
In an effort to support continued learning opportunities for our students during this extended closure, we are asking students to maintain their skills and review content through materials/activities that can be accessed by students/families/caregivers. We strongly suggest that students take advantage of these resources and continue their learning during this closure.
SLMS has decided to take on blood cancer and our mission is to help find a cure.
