  • CoVid Crisis Brings SLMS Students Closer to 5-Time Olympic Gold Medalist Katie Ledecky

    Schools may be closed and the Olympics may have been postponed, but Student Council members at SLMS are still working hard to engage our student body. On Friday, a handful of our students took advantage of an amazing opportunity to remotely interview Katie Ledecky, 5 time Olympic gold medalist. They talked about everything from her influences growing up, when she became serious about swimming, and her feelings about the quarantine. Katie really enjoyed interacting with our students and she even agreed to talk to us again next year!

  • A Message from the MS School Counselor

    Everyone is struggling with our “new normal” and trying to find the balance of working from home and navigating all of the technology that goes along with that. Additionally, we cannot access many of the activities, sports, and hobbies and connect with friends that we used to in the past. Along with this, I know that there is a lot of stress and anxiety that we must deal with in order to adjust to this new way of living. Therefore, I wanted to reach out and offer you and your children some options if you would like to touch-base with me.
