Student Council consists of 8th grade students who work very hard for the student body throughout the school year. They help plan spirit days, school dances, and school-wide events that benefit the student body at SLMS. 

Seventh graders who want an opportunity to participate should look for more information in May.  

Teacher recommendations are extremely important so students interested in Student Council should keep this in mind and do their best to participate in class, show leadership abilities, and stand out as students with integrity who could positively represent their fellow classmates.
