Selection & Notification
The selection committee will identify up to 3 students per high school to participate in the program. If fewer than 3 students apply from your high school, they are not guaranteed admission based on spots available - they will still be assessed by the selection committee using the program entry standards.
Students may also be placed on a waitlist and admitted as space becomes available. There is no priority given to students whose parent/guardian works at Lehigh.
Decision notifications will be sent out during the week of May 28th.
Enrollment
The selected students will be able to enroll in one class at Lehigh in the fall with tuition cost covered by the High School Scholars program. Students will be responsible for any course materials, course fees, etc.
Students will be provided a registration link they are responsible for completing to confirm their enrollment in the program. Students must receive a final grade of B+ or higher in their fall class in order to be eligible for re-enrollment during the Spring 2025 semester.
Course Request Process
The course request process will take place in July. Students are provided with a list of eligible courses that they can request placement in. Students are not able to reach out to Lehigh faculty or staff to seek entry into courses (1) not listed on the eligible course list or (2) to make alternate attendance arrangements from a schedule listed. Students that fail to abide by this policy will be removed from the program.
Students are expected to make selections with the ability to attend all components of a given class. Pending availability in eligible courses, changes in course enrollment can be requested through the first week of classes for the fall semester.
