AP Math Courses
AP Calculus is a rigorous and demanding course that utilizes the knowledge that you have obtained from all of your previous mathematics classes and applies it along with the new knowledge that you will obtain in this course.
You will receive your summer work at our AP Calculus meeting in May. It will be collected the first day of class and you will be given a grade for it. There are 140 questions in the packet and will take between 6-8 hours to complete. It is a review of some of the skills that are vital to your success in AP Calculus throughout the course.
On the first day of class, be prepared to take a quiz on the unit circle and material covered in this review packet. You are required to know the unit circle by heart and be able to evaluate trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions. You will be utilizing these skills throughout the entire course.
Please make sure that you obtain your graphing calculator prior to the first day of class. The link for the approved calculators is on the course syllabus. If you have any questions please contact me. My email address is: firstname.lastname@example.org
