Thank you for visiting my webpage. My name is Mrs. Sara Hovis and I am a teacher at Hopewell Elementary School. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education from Slippery Rock University. I also have Master's degree in Special Education from DeSales University. This is my 12th year teaching in the Southern Lehigh School District. I have taught first grade, second grade, Tech Smarts, and was the Response to Instruction and Intervention Specialist. This year I will be teaching full day kindergarten. I love working with children and couldn't imagine having any other job!
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am a very proud mommy of two wonderful children, Owen and Isabel. I also like to shop, read, and dancing. My family likes to vacation at Walt Disney World and the beach. My favorite color is purple, I cheer for Penn State, I love to be around people, chat, and just have a good time!
