Kindergarten Family Workshop
An exciting feature of the full day kindergarten program will be monthly family workshops. The goal of these family workshops is to provide a strong home to school connection as well as tools, strategies, and resources that can be used at home to support the student’s academic and social success.
Each student will be required to have A parent, grandparent, or caregiver attend the workshops with him/her each month. The workshops will begin at 11:30 am with the adult arriving to eat lunch with his/her child. The teacher will lead an activity which will engage both the adults and students together. The students will be dismissed with their adults at 1:00 pm. More information regarding the details of the lunch/workshop will be provided in the first weeks of schools.
