Second grade is a year of discovery for students as they become readers,
writers, problem solvers, and life-long learners through hands-on,
student-directed learning opportunities.

During
our day, the students engage in Word Work, Shared Writing, Guided
Writing, Shared Reading, Guided Reading, Math, Guided Math, Science,
Social Studies, and a variety of exciting specials.
A little bit about me...
I have been a teacher for twelve years and love every moment I spend in
my classroom. I am a Penn State graduate and earned a B.A. in English
with a Technical Writing emphasis. After graduation, I worked at a
local corporation for a little over a year and enrolled at Moravian
College to complete my teaching certification. I am finishing up my Master's of Education at Moravian College as well. I began my teaching
career at Liberty Bell Elementary School, and I feel very fortunate to
be a part of such a wonderful community of teachers, students,
administrators, and parents.
