Why Art?

In the art classroom students create.  In the art classroom students reflect upon what they have created.  In the art classroom students discuss: their artistic decisions, what makes art good and bad, what they see, what they feel.  In the art classroom students begin to recognize art in their everyday life and understand its importance throughout history.  In the art classroom students learn: about art, about themselves, about the world.
