2017 Author Visit 
On April 27th, Liberty Bell is excited to welcome a visiting author and illustrator to our school. Lee Harper will be here to share his writing and artistic talents with the students. He is the author/illustrator of 8 books! His books include popular titles such as Woolbur, Turkey Trouble, The Emperor's Cool Clothes, Turkey Claus.
Mr. Harper will speak with students about the writing and publishing process and complete a guided drawing session with them. He will use the guided drawing session to instruct students on how to create some of his most popular characters.
Students have been preparing for his visit at their library classes. We have had a great time reading his books and making projects to share with him.
In addition, his books are available for purchase and personalization. All books are hardcover and will be delivered here to Liberty Bell for distribution. A parent letter and order form have been sent home. If you did not receive the order form or would like additional copies, please see the link below or check the Liberty Bell homepage. Books must be paid for with check. Order forms are due April 5th. There will be no copies available on the 27th for purchase.
