Background:I am originally from the Quakertown area. During my years at Quakertown High School, I participated in field hockey, basketball, track and field, and student government. It was during this time that I knew I wanted to work with children in the school setting. My love for sports and Health Education lead me to a B.S. degree in Health and Physical Education from West Chester University. My teaching experience included six years at the elementary, middle school and high school levels prior to my starting at Southern Lehigh in September, 2005. I received a Masters Degree in Education from Wilkes University in May, 2007. I have now been teaching for sixteen years.
Family:
I live in Center Valley with my family. I have two sons, Colin and Kyle. Colin is a sophomore at Southern Lehigh High School and Kyle is in eighth grade at Southern Lehigh Middle School. They play school and club lacrosse, soccer and basketball. We enjoy playing and watching sports together.
Hobbies:
My hobbies include sports, coaching, photography, hiking and camping.
