    May 15-19 2017

    Science: We will continue with our look at the heart and circulatory systems.  Pig heart dissection will be on Friday, May 19.  There will be a quiz on the heart diagram Thursday, May 18.

    We are still in need of empty egg cartons.  If you have any that you could give us please send them to school with your child.  Thanks!

    Social Studies: We will continue with our look at immigration. We are currently reading "If Your Name was Changed at Ellis Island"  Wednesday, May 24th we will be having our Ellis Island day.  Your child was given a paper on May 17th detailing how they should dress for Ellis Island day.  We are asking that students get into "character" by dressing like the immigrants would have dressed in the late 1800's. 

    All St. Jude Fundraising envelopes are due back no later than Tuesday, May 23rd.  If you haven't returned you envelope yet, please do so as soon as possible.

    Sixth grade will be visiting the middle school on Tuesday, May 23rd.

    Immigration Day activities will be held on May 24th.

    May 25th -Spirit Day- wear red, white, blue

    May 26th-half day-early dismissal, Ned assembly.

Please consider volunteering as help is needed in a variety of positions.  Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 2:30pm in the cafeteria. Our PTG provides money for assemblies and other educational and fun activities for our students.
