I graduated from Millersville University with a BS in Elementary Education with an Option in Reading. It has been my childhood dream to teach and I feel so grateful to be doing something that I love!
I have been teaching for 20 years. This is my 18th year teaching at Southern Lehigh. During this time I have taught both 6th grade and 7th grade Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies.
I earned my Masters Degree in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University. I enjoy learning new techniques and bringing innovative ideas to my classroom, therefore I continue to attend classes and conferences during the school year.
LOVES- MY FAMILY- Victoria, Dylan, and Isabella
DOGS especially Wirehaired Fox Terriers- Electra and Tricity
The color PINK, school, teaching, reading, dancing, biking, movies and music, cheerleading, watching my kids play sports, watching my baby girl experience things for the "first" time, my dad's pizza (YUMMY), McDonald's Sweet Tea, spending time with my family, St. Louis, friends, people who make me laugh (especially Mrs. Gaugler), appreciative people, Big Brother and Survivor, and being organized.
DISLIKES- mean people, bullying, negativity, mushrooms, lima beans, sneaky people, my kids growing older too quickly, talking back, disrespect, and rudeness.
I LOOK FORWARD TO AN AWESOME SCHOOL YEAR WITH YOU!
Let's LEARN a great deal and have FUN while doing it!!!
