REGISTRATION FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR
Siblings:
Families who currently have children enrolled in the Spanish Immersion Program:
- Students must be registered for first grade in the Southern Lehigh School District. (see District Policy 200 Enrollment).
- Spanish Immersion Parent Interest Form 2025-2026 is available here. (see District Policy 200.1 Spanish Immersion).
- Sibling preference is limited to no more than fourteen (14) students.
- Sibling preference deadline is March 1, 2025.
- If requests exceed fourteen (14), a Sibling Lottery will be scheduled for May 16, 2025, at 4:00 pm. Information about joining the live lottery will be shared closer to the event. Your attendance at the lottery does not affect admission. Any student (beyond the 14 limit) who is not selected in the Sibling Lottery will be eligible for the General Lottery.
New Students:
Families who are new to the Spanish Immersion Program:
In order to be eligible for the general lottery selection process, (see Policy 200 and Policy 200.1)
2025-2026 Spanish Immersion Timeline

- March 1, 2025, Sibling preference deadline:
o Submit 2025-2026 Spanish Immersion Sibling Student Application
● May 10, 2025: Must be registered for 1st Grade in the Southern Lehigh School District
● May 16, 2025, at 4:00 pm: Sibling Lottery at Liberty Bell Elementary School
● May 23, 2025, at 4:00 pm: General Lottery for Siblings that did not get in at the Sibling Lottery - Parents, Guardians, or a family representative (ages 18 or older) are welcome to attend
Families who are new to the Spanish Immersion Program:
● May 10, 2025: Family must be residents of Southern Lehigh School District
● May 10, 2025: Must be registered for 1st Grade in the Southern Lehigh School District
● May 10, 2025: Meet orientation requirements**
o Parent Information Session:
▪ January 25, 2025: Attend Parent Information Session at Liberty Bell
OR
▪ March 21, 2025: Attend Parent Information Session at Liberty Bell
o Submit 2025-26 ONLINE Spanish Immersion Parent Interest Form
o Submit 2025-2026 Program Commitment Agreement - Signed

● May 23, 2025, at 4:00 pm General Lottery for Siblings that did not get in at the Sibling Lottery - Parents, Guardians or a family representative (ages 18 or older) are welcome to attend
● July 15, 2025 - Final Commitment by families selected to participate
● July 31, 2025 - Final Waitlist Commitment by families placed on the Waitlist (dependent upon commitment from those on the original invitation list)
