    FAMILY ID FALL ATHLETIC HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL REGISTRATIONS ARE CURRENTLY OPEN!

     

     

    Southern Lehigh is excited to announce that we are now offering the convenience of online registration for Southern Lehigh Athletic Programs through our partner company, Family ID.  Through your registration on Family ID, you are completing the entire PIAA packet, and agreeing to the Code of Conduct and the Parents' Pledge.  A Family ID registration must be completed for the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons.

    The following 2022-2023 Southern Lehigh High School FALL sports start on MONDAY, AUGUST 15, 2022:

     

    BOYS/GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

    FIELD HOCKEY

    FOOTBALL (START DATE AUGUST 8, 2022)

    GOLF (START DATE AUGUST 8, 2022)

    BOYS/GIRLS SOCCER

    GIRLS TENNIS

    GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

    SPIRIT/COMPETITIVE CHEER (MUST HAVE ATTENDED SPRING TRYOUT)

     

                                  

    The following 2022-2023 Southern Lehigh Middle School FALL sports start on MONDAY, AUGUST 15, 2022:

    BOYS/GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

    FIELD HOCKEY

    FOOTBALL

    SPIRIT CHEER (MUST HAVE ATTENDED SPRING TRYOUT)

    GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

     

    In order to participate in a High School or Middle School Fall sport, the following must be completed:

    Family ID Online Registration

    PIAA Physical (PIAA Section 6 form and PIAA Section 7 form - see links below) if first season playing a sport.

    FREE St. Luke's PIAA FALL ATHLETIC PHYSICALS - Monday June 6th in the Southern Lehigh High School Cafeteria from 5pm-8pm.


    Please click on the link below to sign up for a Free FALL Sports Physical.  Please bring to the physical a completed Health History Section 6 form and a blank Physician Section 7 form which are attached below. Physical participants are to enter through the Athletic doors across from the Tennis Courts.  Please wear glasses/contact lenses (if required), athletic clothing, and sneakers.

    If you missed the above free physical dates and are in need of a PIAA Physical for the 2022-2023 fall sport season, you will need to obtain a physical from your family physician or visit a St. Luke's Care Now Center for a $25 fee (indicate that you are a Southern Lehigh Student-Athlete).  Please ensure you have the correct PIAA physical forms:  PIAA Section 6 Health History Form and PIAA Section 7 Physician Physical Form (please see the links below).

     
       

     

    PIAA PHYSICAL FORMS - PLEASE REMIT HARD COPIES ONLY - EMAILED, SCANNED, FAXED, OR PHOTOGRAPHED PAPERWORK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.  YOUR COOPERATION IS APPRECIATED.

     

    ATHLETIC IMPACT CONCUSSION TESTING

    IMPACT Concussion Testing is required for all incoming 7th, 9th, and 11th grade student athletes and anyone new to the Southern Lehigh School District. Please visit the Athletic Home Page for the online ImPact Concussion link.
     

    DUE DATES
    The deadline for Family ID registrations, physical paperwork, the Pay to Participate Fee, and the Impact Concussion Test is Friday, July 29, 2022 for HS Football and Golf and Friday, August 5, 2022 for all other High School and Middle School sports in order for the student-athlete to start on the first day of his/her Fall sport.  If this deadline is not met, the student-athlete may be held out of his/her sport on the first day of tryouts. Physical paperwork and the Pay to Participate Fee if paying by check (made out to "SLSD") or cash are to be submitted to the Athletic Department located in the High School.

     

    Pay to Participate fees will be deposited or refunded after final rosters have been announced.  This process may take several weeks.
