My name is Mrs. Dickinson! I'm a 1993 graduate of Southern Lehigh. I attended Messiah College, near Harrisburg, PA where I earned a BS in Elementary Education in 1997. I completed a Master's Degree in Classroom Technology and Elementary Education at Wilkes University. I began my career at Southern Lehigh as a substitute and Instructional Assistant in 1998 and later worked as a 6th grade Reading and Social Studies teacher at SLMS. In 2000, I began teaching at Liberty Bell (my old elementary school) as a 4th grade teacher. I spent 6 years teaching 4th grade before I decided to take some time off to be home with my children. I returned to Southern Lehigh as an Instructional Aide in the RtII department 3 years ago at JPLIS. I'm so happy to be back in the classroom full time in 4th grade. I look forward to an exciting year full of learning, integrating technology, building relationships, and having fun!
My Family: Married to my hardworking husband, Scott for 18 years. Mom to four amazing kids: Noah--9th grade, Deacon--7th grade, Gracelyn--3rd grade, and Gideon--1st grade. They all certainly keep me busy, as they are very active in sports and church activities. If I'm not sitting at soccer practices or games, wrestling matches, lacrosse, football, softball, or baseball games, I enjoy relaxing, reading, sitting by the pool or beach, and just being with my family. I'm also very active in my church. I enjoy cooking, baking, and bargain shopping.
