• Offer vs. Serve

    This allows the students to choose what they will eat. They may reject  (1) or (2) of the (5) lunch meal components (Meat/Meat Alternate, Bread/Grain, Vegetable, Fruit, and Milk) to make a complete meal deal. If items are refused, there is no reduction in price. Students have the right to decline any food items.  

    **Continuing for 2020-2021 - USDA regulations make it mandatory that students take a fruit or vegetable serving with their lunch for it to count as a type-A reimbursable meal. We must enforce these rules. If students do not take a fruit or vegetable serving they will be charged at a la carte pricing.
