    VII.BUSINESS AND FINANCE 
    A.   Accounts Payable
    *The Administration recommends approval of the bills to be paid list as of July 11, 2016.  (VII, A)

    B.   Bond Refinancing
    Mr. Chris Gibbons from Concord Public Financial Advisors will present a refunding option for the district’s 2010 and 2011 General Obligation Bonds. 

    C.   Cafeteria Price Increase
    The Administration recommends a price increase to 2 “meal deals” and various A La Carte items.  (VII, C-1)(VII, C-2)
    •The 2015-2016 price list reflects current pricing.  
    •The changes are designated on the 2016-2017 price list by yellow highlighter.  These items were not increased when the lunch prices were adjusted last year and have not been increased for 8 years.

    Certificated Staff
    1.Appointments
    The Administration recommends approval of the following certificated staff for the 2016-17 school year (pending receipt of required documentation):  

    Jeffrey Loda, Music Teacher, Southern Lehigh Middle School, a salary of $52,724, Bachelors +15, Step 9, effective August 22, 2016. Mr. Loda will fill the position due to the retirement of Nancy Beitler.

    Rachel Saber, Chemistry Teacher, Southern Lehigh High School, a salary of $59,833, Masters, Step 12, effective August 22, 2016.  Ms. Saber will fill the position due to the retirement of Patricia Smiley.

    2.Appointment Rescission 
    *The Administration recommends rescinding the appointment of Paul Sabino, Long-Term Substitute, Southern Lehigh High School, effective August 22, 2016.
        
    B.Non-Certificated Staff 
    1.Appointments
    *The Administration recommends approval (pending receipt of required documentation) of the following staff:
    Barbara Smedley, Licensed Health Room Nurse, Southern Lehigh High School, an hourly rate of $20.91, with an effective date to be determined.  Ms. Smedley will fill the position due to the resignation of Ann Lamb.

    Amanda Mowery, Long-Term Substitute Secretary, Southern Lehigh High School, an hourly rate of $15.64, with an effective date to be determined. 

    2.Resignation 
    *The Administration recommends accepting the resignation of Bridget Jurgens, Licensed Health Room Nurse, effective immediately.
